Ingredients

1/4 cup chopped pecans

3 Tbs butter

1 large onion

1/4 tsp ground cloves

4 thin slices of liver

1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

Preparation

Toast pecans. Saute onion in 1 1/2 Tbs butter until golden brown. Add half of cloves and saute 1 min longer. Add salt/pepper.

Sprinkle liver with remaining cloves, S/P and saute in butter abt 2 min per side. Transfer liver to plates. Add balsamic vinegar, pecans and onion to skillet and stir for 1 min. Spoon atop of liver.
