Ingredients

3 eggs seperated

1 cup sugar

1 cup all purpose flour

1/4 cup vegetable oil

1 tsp. dried basil

1 tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 lemon zested and juiced

Preparation

Add 1/2 cup sugar to egg whites, using mixer beat until stiff

Add 1/2 cup sugar, flour, vegetable oil,salt, basil, vanilla extract and stir then add lemon zest and juice,using mixer beat until smooth.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Gently fold in 1/2 stiff egg whites into flour batter and then do the same with the other half of egg whites then pour into greased and lightly floured 9 inch baking pan. Bake for 30 min at 350 degrees.
