Ingredients

Cookie:

3/4 cup butter

1 cup sugar

2 eggs

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

2 1/2 cups flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

teaspoon salt

Frosting:

2 lbs confectioners sugar

2 sticks of butter

2 tablespoons of shortening (crisco)

2 tablespoons vanilla (clear)

3-4 tablespoons of milk

Preparation

Cookie:

  1. Beat butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until creamy.
  2. Sift flour baking powder and salt and add them to the wet ingredients
  3. Chill for at least 1 hour
  4. Roll and cut with cookie cutters
  5. Bake at 400 for 5 minutes or until edges are light golden

Frosting: Soften butter and beat with ingredients until creamy.
