Ingredients

1 small onion, chopped

6 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons flour

1 1/2 cups water

8 ounce jar cheez whiz

2 10-ounce frozen chopped broccoli, cooked

3 eggs, wel-beaten

1/3 cup bread crumbs

Preparation

Saute onion in 4 tablepoons butter until soft; add flour and water.

Blend and stir until mixture thickens and comes to a boil. Blend in cheez whiz.

Combine sauce and broccoli; add eggs. Mix gently until blended.

Turn into well-greased shallow 2 quart casserole (8 x 10), top with crumbs mixed with remaining butter.

Bake uncovered at 325 degrees for 30 minutes.
