Ingredients

1/3 cup butter

4 1/2 cups sugar

1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk

1/4 to 1/2 tsp cream of tartar

1/4 cup light karo syrup

1 small jar (approx 1cup) marshmallow Creme

2 bags semi sweet chocolate chips (12-13 oz)

1 bag Hershey’s milk chocolate chips

2 tsp vanilla

2 cups walnuts (optional)

Her recipe was not exact, so feel free to put a bit more marshmallow Creme if you like.

Preparation

Boil butter, sugar, milk, cream of tartar, and karo syrup for 5 minutes on medium heat, covered.

Take off the stove, beat in chocolate, and then marshmallow Creme.

After it is all melted and well mixed, put in the vanilla and walnuts.

Beat until it loses its shine, and then put it in a large pan. For easier handling, line the pan with aluminum foil.

Refrigerate and cut when cold.
