Ingredients
3 or 4 ham stock cubes
1/2 lb red lentils
4 pints of water
2 large leeks, cut into small dices
3 large carrots, grated
Preparation
soak lentils for 30 mins and then drain add 4 pints of water to drained lentils and then bring to a boil add stock cubes, leeks and carrots and boil for 30-45 minutes.
