Ingredients

3 cups unsifted flour

1 tsp. baking powder

1 cup sugar

1 cup Crisco

2 tsp. vanilla

1/2 lb. sesame seeds

3 eggs

Preparation

Blend flour, baking powder and sugar together in bowl or pot. Cut Crisco in with fingers until mixture resembles cornmeal. Make a well in center of flour and put eggs and vanilla into it and knead for 5 minutes. Pinch of piece of dough and roll into 2 inch pieces. Dip each piece in milk and roll in sesame seeds. Bake 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees. Notes:

  1. Leave room for cookies to spread,
  2. Refrigerate dough at least 1 hour before shaping pieces.
