Ingredients

1 pkg yellow cake mix

1 small pkg lemon Jell-O

3/4 cup water

1/2 cup oil

4 eggs separated

2 cups powdered sugar

Juice and grated rind of two Lemons

1 T melted butter

Preparation

Combine the cake mix, Jell-O, water and oil. Add four egg yolks and blend. Fold in four stiffly beated egg whites. Bake in a greased angel food cake pan for 45 mins. at 350 degrees. Cool.

Combine the powdered suger, lemon juice, rind and melted butter. Poke the cake (still in the pan) with a meat fork. Pour the liquid mixture evenly over the cake and let it set.
