Ingredients

1 lb asparagus tips (look for thicker stalks)

2 table-spoons Sesame Oil

2 crushed Garlic cloves

1 inch fresh ginger, peeled & grated

Coarse Kosher or Sea Salt

Crispin Hard Apple Cider (Original)

Lemon & Soy Butter

1/4 cup unsalted butter

3 scallions (Spring Onions?), finely sliced

1 inch fresh ginger, grated & juice squeezed

1 tea-spoon peppercorns coarsely crushed or fresh ground black pepper

2 table-spoons white rice vinegar

Freshly squeezed lemon juice - 1/2 a lemon.

1/4 cup Crispin Hard Cider

1 tablespoon soy sauce.

Preparation

Melt butter in small saucepan Add ingredients above Bring to boil, boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat, keeping mixture warm.

Asparagus Preparation

Put sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and salt in a plastic bag. Add asparagus & gently toss to liberally coat the tips.

Heat a frying pan, add asparagus. Cook for 2 minutes on each side.

Arrange on a platter.
