Ingredients
10 cups dry bread crumbs (about 14 slices)
1 cup finely chopped onion
1 cup snipped parsley
4 tsps finely shredded lemon peel
2 tsps dried marjoram, crushed
1 tsp dried thyme, crushed
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup margarine, melted
2 slightly beaten eggs
1/3 cup water
1/4 cup lemon juice
Preparation
Combine bread, onion, parsley, lemon peel, marjoram, thyme, salt, pepper and garlic. Mix well.
Combine melted margarine, eggs, water and lemon juice; toss with bread mixture.
Spoon stuffing into an ungreased 2 quart casserole. Bake uncovered ina 325 degree oven for 30-40 minutes.
