Ingredients
6 oz. Absolut Citron (or similar lemon-infused vodka)
3 oz. Limoncello (Caravella or the difficult to find Finamore)
4 oz. Orange Liquour (Grand Marnier or Cointreau)
8 oz. freshly squeezed lemon juice – sweetened to taste
4 lemon wedges (or wheels)for garnish
2 juicy lemon wedges for muddling
Preparation
Prepare four 10-12 oz. “old-fashion” or “highball” glasses by rubbing rims with lemon wedge and dipping in super-fine sugar (or Lemon-Drop rimmer)– fill each glass 2/3 full with cracked ice…then, add lemon wedge garnish. Place two lemon wedges into a large (28 oz.) cocktail shaker with three ounces of Limoncello – muddle gently to release oils from lemon skins. Add one cup cracked ice to shaker. Add vodka and orange liquour – top with (sweetened) lemon juice. Shake vigorously – strain into prepared glasses. Enjoy!
