                        can (12.4 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Blueberry flavored Sweet Biscuits with Icing (8 Count)

tablespoons sugar

1 1/2

teaspoons grated lemon zest

1

tablespoon butter, melted

8

teaspoons blackberry preserves, stirred well

1

teaspoon fresh lemon juice

Preparation

Heat oven to 375°F. Line cookie sheet with cooking parchment paper. Separate dough into 8 biscuits; set icing aside.

In small bowl, mix sugar and 1 teaspoon of the lemon zest. Brush one side of each biscuit with melted butter, and dip buttered side into sugar mixture; press lightly to adhere. Place biscuits, dipped side up, 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.

With end of wooden spoon, make a deep 1 1/4-inch wide circle indentation in center of each biscuit; fill each with 1 teaspoon preserves.

Bake 9 to 12 minutes or until light golden brown; cool 10 minutes.

In small bowl, mix icing and lemon juice. Drizzle biscuits with icing mixture. Garnish with remaining 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest.
