Ingredients

Herb Mixture-

3 T. minced fresh rosemary

1-2 minced garlic cloves

3 T. light brown sugar

½ tsp Cheyenne pepper (less if you’re a wimp)

1 tsp dried thyme

Other Ingredients-

1# raw pecan halves

½ stick of unsalted butter (4T)

S&P to taste

Preparation

Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.

In a small bowl, combine herb mixture. In a large bowl toss pecans and melted butter. Add herb mixture to nuts and toss well.

Place pecans on a cookie sheet. Roast for about 10 minutes tossing a couple times in between. The pecans should be heated throughout and a darker color (be careful not to burn). At the end, sprinkle and toss with lots of salt and a bit of black pepper.

Serve warm or store in an airtight container for 1-2 weeks.
