Ingredients
one whole chicken - cut up
or l package of chicken wings. (Can be substituted with ground turkey or beef).
four (4) cans of vegeterian vegetable soup. No other because you will add your own meat, as listed above.
a bag of gumbo vegetables, fresh garlic, or okra and fresh tomatoes. (Optional: corn on the cob, break in 2 or 3 pieces.)( Gumbo vegetables and okra can be omitted are optional.) Can use just chicken and soup, and it is still good.
Spices: chili powder, basil,fresh garlic, thyme, rosemary, black pepper, and salt. (optional: Mrs. Dash).
Preparation
Boil chicken with spices added. After chicken is almost done, and not falling apart,) Optional: add gumbo vegetables. If not using gumbo vegetables, cook chicken completely and add Campbells vegeterian vegetable soup. cook for about 30 minutes on medium fire.(Campblls Soup is already done, just cook together to get the soup taste thoughout chicken.
