Ingredients
3 tbsp of Yeast
¼ cup of Warm Water
½ cup of Melted Butter or Margarine
3 Eggs, beaten
1 1/3 cups of Milk
1 1/3 cups of Warm Water
1/3 cup of Sugar
1 tsp of Salt
4-5 cups of Flour
Preparation
- In a small bowl combine yeast and ¼ cup of warm water and set aside.
- In a large bowl combine butter, eggs, milk, water, sugar, and salt and mix well.
- Add yeast and enough flour to make the dough knead able.
- On a clean and flat surface place enough flour to keep dough from sticking to surface.
- Put dough on floured surface and knead until dough is dry and not sticky.
- When dough is dry enough place in a large greased bowl and let it sit for an hour to rise.
- Punch down dough and allow the dough to rise for another hour.
- Punch down dough for the last time and either use dough immediately or store in a covered container in the fridge.
