Ingredients

3 tbsp of Yeast

¼ cup of Warm Water

½ cup of Melted Butter or Margarine

3 Eggs, beaten

1 1/3 cups of Milk

1 1/3 cups of Warm Water

1/3 cup of Sugar

1 tsp of Salt

4-5 cups of Flour

Preparation

  1. In a small bowl combine yeast and ¼ cup of warm water and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl combine butter, eggs, milk, water, sugar, and salt and mix well.
  3. Add yeast and enough flour to make the dough knead able.
  4. On a clean and flat surface place enough flour to keep dough from sticking to surface.
  5. Put dough on floured surface and knead until dough is dry and not sticky.
  6. When dough is dry enough place in a large greased bowl and let it sit for an hour to rise.
  7. Punch down dough and allow the dough to rise for another hour.
  8. Punch down dough for the last time and either use dough immediately or store in a covered container in the fridge.
