Ingredients

4 Lamb shanks

seasoned flour (salt, pepper, and garlic.

Sauce:

2 tbls. balsamic vinegar

2 tbls. honey

2 tbls. fresh lemon juice

1/2 c. sugar

1/2 each cinnamon, allspice, and cloves

variety of dried fruits

Preparation

Roll lamb shanks in seasoned flour. Place in greased roaster, cover and bake at 200 degrees for 6 hours. Can be done a day ahead. Remove shanks from oven and drain any fat, cover with the sauce and return to oven for 30 to 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
