Ingredients

2 sticks of softened butter

5 teaspoons baking powder

4 eggs

1 cup of milk ( whole milk)

4 cups of plain flour

1 teaspoon salt

2 cups of sugar

Preparation

In large mixing bowl mix the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. In another bowl sift together the flour, baking powder and salt. Into the sugar/butter mixture add some flour and mix, then alternate with some milk. Continue alternating flour and milk. Mix well. Pour the batter evenly into 4 round pans and bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Test with a cake tester till it comes out clean.
