Ingredients
1/2 c. butter - softened
1 c sugar
1 c dark corn syrup
1 1/2 t vanilla extract
1/2 t salt
3 eggs - well beaten
2 cups coarsely chopped pecans
1 pastry shell - unbaked - 9 inch
Preparation
In large bowl, blend butter, sugar, corn syrup, vanilla and salt. Beat until thoroughly blended. Add eggs, beat gently until blended. Stir in pecans. Pour into pie shell and bake at 375 degrees about 40 minutes or until top is a toasted brown and filling is set when pie is gently shaken.
