Ingredients
1 cup soy sauce (low sodium is OK)
½ cup hearty red wine (cheap is OK)
9 tbsp. sugar
¼ tsp. dry ginger
2 packages chicken wings (approx 24 whole wings)
Preparation
Preheat oven to 375°F. Cut wings into 3s (discard tips or use for stock) and put into a 9 x 13 foil-lined pan. Mix other ingredients over low heat until sugar is dissolved; pour over wings. Bake for 45 minutes, turn and check after another 30-45 minutes.
