Ingredients
3 pounds of sliced rib beef
1 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup sugar
1 thumb ginger peeled and gratedon Japanese grater
2 cloves garlic gratedon japanese grater
2 Tablespoon mirin
3 Tablespoon sesame oil
1 stalk of green onion chopped
Preparation
Mix all ingredients in bowl until sugar is dissolved. Layer beef in a large zip loc bag and then pour marinade in bag and let it merry in the refridgerator for 2-3 hours.Meanwhile prepare rice and other side dishes for meal. About 30 minutes before taking beef out of marinade get the grill ready. Once coals are hot start grilling the beef. It is best if the beef has a little carmelization on both sides of the sliced ribs.
