Ingredients
1 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 cup white Karo syrup
1 tsp vanilla
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter
1 cup pecans or walnuts, chopped
6 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
Mix first four ingredients and blend well. Melt butter and add to first mixture along with remaining ingredients. Pour into two 9 inch unbaked pie shells. Bake at 350 degrees 50 minutes or until set.
Let cool before slicing.
