Ingredients
cut up chicken
county ham slices,and/or bacon
toast
bacon
cheddar cheese
Cream Sauce:
2 T butter + 3 T flour–melt and mix. Slowly stir in 1 cup milk, stirring constantly until thick. Betty does this times 4, so it is 1 stick butter, 3/4 c flour, 4 cups of milk.
Preparation
Toast bread. Layer with chicken or turkey, then ham, sauce, sprinkle with cheese, then place 2 strips of bacon crossed on top. Bake @ 350 in greased rectangular pan , or individual dishes til hot.
