FLOUR 4 CUPS/SUGAR 3 CUPS

UNSALTED BUTTER 2 CUPS

SOUR CREAM AND EVAPORATED MILK 1/2 CUP OF EACH/EGGS 8

BAKING POWDER 3 TEASPOONS

VANILLA 2 TEASPOONS/SALT 1 TEASPOON.

Preparation

PREHEAT OVEN 350 AND GREASE 2 MEDIUM SIZE TUBE PANS. CREAM BUTTER AT MEDIUM SPEED FOR 4 MINS AND THEN ADD SUGAR. MIX FOR 5 MINS AT MEDIUM SP AND WHEN DONE CLEAN THE SIDES OF BOWL. START ADDING EGGS ONE BY ONE AND WAITING 20 SECONDS IN BETWEEN. WHEN ALL EGGS IN, ADD SALT, MIX 5 SECS, CLEAN SIDES OF BOWL.MIX FLOUR WITH BAKING POWDER AND CREAM, MILK AND VANILA TOGETHER. NOW START WITH 1/3 OF FLOUR AND HALF THE MIX OF SOUR CREAM AND MILK, MIX 20 SECS AT MEDIUM SPEED, ADD ANOTHER 1/3 OF FLOUR AND REST OF CREAM AND MILK AND MIX 20 SECS AT MED SPEED, THEN ADD THE REST OF FLOUR, MIX ONLY FOR 10 SECS, STOP MIXER AND FINISH MIXING BY HAND WITH RUBBER SPATULA WITH ENVOLVING MOVEMENTS. POUR INTO PREPARED PANS AND BAKE FOR 40-45 MINS. GET IT OUT AND LET IT COOL DOWN FOR 30 MINS AND REMOVE FROM PANS. ENJOY IT.
