Ingredients
1 1/2 cup white, fine cornmeal
1 tbsp sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 qt boiling sweet milk
Preparation
Bring milk to boil in sauce pan; add butter, sugar and cornmeal (about 1/2 cup at a time) stirring with large whisk. Remove when mixture thickens and allow to cool five minutes. Squeeze through a pastry bag to form tick, silver dollar formed cookies on ungreased sheet. Bake at 425 for 20 minutes until brown.
