Ingredients

11/2 teaspoons minced chilli, garlic and ginger

1lg onion finely diced

3-4 rashers bacon or ham

1pkt of your favourite pasta (i prefer either tortallini or ravoli)

salt

grated cheese

oil

butter

1 bottle 350g full cream

a good dash of ketchup or tomato sauce

Preparation

  1. in a pan saute onion and bacon together, when done put aside.
  2. in a lg pot boil some water with a pinch of salt and a dash of oil, add pasta cook until al’dente, drain well, keep warm.
  3. in a pan add a small amount of butter, wait until it sizzles then add chilli,ginger,garlic and combine, add cream,tomato sauce and simmer constantly stirring, until it is reduced and thickened.
  4. add onion mix to sauce and combine,place pasta on serving bowls add sauce and grated cheese.
