Ingredients

11/2 lb lump canned crab meat

1/4 lb butter

1/4 cup flour

1cup milk

1cup l/2&1/2

1/2 cup white wine

1cup grated chedder cheese

1 14oz cam sliced mushrooms

5-6 green onions chopped

1/2 tsp paprika

salt&pepper to taste

Preparation

melt butter in a sauce pan stir in flour slowly add mile,1/2&1/2,and wine until there are no more lumps..stir in green onions(I use white∂ of the green)cheese keep stiring until cheese is melted add mushroom,paprika and s&p should be a pale orange color place crabmeat in a colinder and check for shells very carefully stir into cheese sauce so as not to break up lumps….serve with toasted french bread or on top of toasted english muffins
