Ingredients
2 1/2 c all-purpose flour
1 1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp salt
1 c unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 1/4 c light brown sugar
1/2 c white sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp Jack Daniels Whiskey
1 pkg Milk Chocolate Chips
3/4 c chopped walnuts (optional)
Preparation
- Heat oven to 400 degrees.
- Cream butter and sugars until well blended.
- Add eggs and whiskey. Beat until well mixed.
- Add salt, flour and baking soda until well blended.
- Add chocolate chips and nuts if used.
- Using small cookie scoop (#09) or tablespoon, place on ungreased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 6-8 minutes or golden brown. Let set on cookie sheet for 2 minutes then cool completely on rack. Store in an air-tight container.
