Ingredients
Crust
28 chocolate wafers finely ground in processor
6 tablespoons butter melted and cooled
Preheat oven to 350 spray a 8" springform and wrap outside with foil combine crumbs and butter and cover bottem and 1" or so up sides bake about 10 minutes then cool on rack
Filling
1/2 lb good quality chocolate
6 tablespoons butter cut into 1/2 inch cubes
2 large eggs lightly beaten
1/3 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup sugar
pinch salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
Melt chocolate and butter over low heat stirring till smooth then cool 5 minutes
whisk together the rest of the ingredients and stir the cooled chocolate mixture in
Bake until still slightly wobbly in center 20 -25 minutes cool completely on rack then refrigerate
