Ingredients
flank steak
marinade:
1/4 cup soy
1 Tbs honey
2 tsp sesame oil
1 Tbs cream mint ginger
2 tsp minced garlic (or 2 cloves)
sauce:
1/4 cup chopped scallions
1 peeled garlic clove
1 Tbs lime juice
1/3 cup cilantro
1/3 cup mint leaves
3 Tbs water
1 Tbs extra-virgin olive oil
creole seasoning
slice in 1/2 lengthwise large peeled carrots and parsnips
Preparation
marinate flank steak as long as desired with combined listed ingredients for marinade
grill 3-5 min per side for med/med-rare allow to rest a few min cut at angles
sauce: food process listed ingredients to the consistency for pesto spread, add olive oil as needed
for veggies brush flat side with olive oil and sprinkle with creole seasoning char flat sides and chop in 1/2
