Ingredients
8 Green Onions
Habaneros 4-6 good 8-10 is ire mon.
2T Peanut oil or your preference
3 garlic cloves
1C brown sugar (I usually use 1/2)
2T Smoked Paprika
2-3t Thyme - Fresh is best
2t basil fresh
2t ground ginger (if you use fresh grate finely about 1T)
2t ground corriander
1t chili powder - either generic or take your pick
1/2 t each allspice, cinamon, ground cloves, ground cumin, ground nutmeg, black pepper
1t salt
1/2 t lime juice.
Preparation
Whirl in a blender or pound in a mortar until you have a thick paste.
Add tamarind to taste if you like some tang.
Marinate some meat for overnight then grill and drink some rum.
You can also char the green onions on a grill for a twist.
