Ingredients

2 eggs, room temperature

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup all purpose flour

1/2 (1 stick) butter melted and cooled

1 cup chocolate chips semi sweet or mix of semi sweet and 60% cocoa

1 cup chopped pecans

1 Tbsp rum

1 tsp vanilla

1 9 inch unbaked pie shell, regular or graham cracker

Vanilla ice cream

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 Beat eggs on high in small bowel until light and lemon colored. Gradually beat in sugar. Reduce speed to low, add flour and water and mix thoroughly.

Stir in nuts, chips and flavorings.

This may be done 1-2 hours before serving.

Turn mixture into pie shell. Bake until golden brown - about 40 minutes

Serve warm with ice cream
