Ingredients

3 pounds chicken pieces

2 teaspoons sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder

1 1/2 teaspoons thyme

1 teaspoon allspice

1 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon cayenne

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1/8 teaspoon ground clove

Preparation

  1. Remove skin from chicken. Combine spices in bowl. Sprinkle evenly over chicken pieces; rub in with fingers

  2. Place chicken in grill, bone-side up, over medium heat. Cover and grill 40-50 minutes or until tender and no longer pink, turning halfway through.
