Ingredients

1 medium onion

2 good pinches powdered ginger

1/8 cup soy sauce

1/2 cup Jack Daniel’s

1 - 2 cloves garlic minced

5 Tablespoons brown sugar

1 lb. Salmon filet (preferably wild)- serves 2 - 3

Preparation

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

Saute all ingredients except salmon until mixture has a syrup-like consistency. Give the onion and a tablespoon of oil a few minutes head start.

Place salmon on foil in a pan and pour mixture over the fish. Fold the foil over and bake at 450 degrees for 25 minutes. Let stand for 5 - 8 minutes.
