Ingredients

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup white syrup

1 cup dry toasted salted peanuts

1 tsp butter

1 tsp vanilla

1 tsp soda

Preparation

In 1 or 2 qt. casserole, stir together 1 cup sugar, 1/2 c. white syrup.

Place in microwave on high for 2 minutes. Stir and cook for 2 minutes.

Stir in: 1 cup dry roasted salted peanuts. Cook 4 min. on high until light brown.

Add: 1 tsp. butter 1 tsp. vanilla. Blend well. Use wooden spoon.

Cook on high 1 - 2 minutes more. Peanuts will be lightly browned and syrup very hot.

Add: 1 tsp. soda Stir until light, foamy. Quickly poor on greased cookie sheet and cool 1/2 hr. Break into pieces.
