Ingredients

Basic Salad:

1 pound Farfalle Pasta

Dressing:

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup cider vinegar

1 teaspoon salt, optional

1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning

1/2 teaspoon ground pepper

2 tablespoons spicy brown mustard

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon parsley.

Preparation

Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and rince under cold water to stop cooking process. Drain well. Well draining, combine dressing ingredients. Whick all ingredients in a bowl until well blended. Transfer pasta to bowl and add your “add-ins”. Possible suggestions: chopped cucumber, diced onion, chopped scallions, black or green olives, chopped green peper, sliced pepperoni, gabonzo beans. Whatever you happen to like. Pour dressing over add-ins and pasta. Toss to coat. Chill for at least an hour before serving.
