Ingredients
1lb lean ground beef
1lb ground pork
8 slices stale white bread, ground into crumbs (about 1c)
3 eggs
1t garlic powder
2t Italian seasoning
2t parsley flakes
1/3c grated parmesan cheese
2t salt
1/2t black pepper
vegetable oil for frying
Preparation
Beat eggs. Mix in remaining ingredients. Roll meatballs about 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
Fry meatballs in 1/4" oil, turning frequently, until brown and done.
Simmer in sauce, if desired.
