Ingredients
2 (14.5 oz) cans of Contadina® Stewed Tomatoes
1 (15 oz) can of Contadina® Tomato Sauce
1 lb of long Italian green beans
1 tbsp oregano
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
6 cloves of garlic
3 tbsp olive oil
1 lb of linguine
Preparation
- Remove ends of green beans and wash. Cut into threes.
- Take cans of stewed tomatoes and break up into chunks.
- Dice garlic fine.
- Sauté garlic in olive oil. Add stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce, oregano, Italian seasoning and salt and pepper to taste.
- After mixture comes to a boil, add long green beans. Cook until tender (about 15-20 minutes).
- In the meantime bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook to taste.
- Drain pasta and add some liquid into the pasta and plate pasta and put long green beans and sauce over pasta.
