Ingredients

1 1/2 ounces Strega liqueur

1/2 ounce dry vermouth, such as Dolin

3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice

3 to 4 dashes Angostura bitters

Ice

Fresh bay leaf, for garnish

Preparation

Combine Strega, vermouth, lemon juice, and bitters in a cocktail shaker filled halfway with ice. Shake vigorously until outside of shaker is cold and frothy, about 30 seconds. Strain into a coupe glass; garnish with bay leaf and serve immediately.
