Ingredients

1 cup Yellow shredded cheese

(I use extra sharp white cheddar)

1 cup finely chopped walnuts

(I roast them first for extra flavor)

4 eggs

½ medium onion chopped very fine (use more if to taste if you like)

1 cup bread crumbs

Shake in garlic salt or powder to taste

Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together well. Form into balls. (if you keep your hands wet with cold water it won’t stick to your hand as much.) May be browned in frying pan with vegetable oil OR put into baking dish with red sauce or brown gravy and bake at 375 degrees for about ½ hour or until they are cooked through.
