Ingredients

1/4 cup Imperial Margarine (50 mL)

2 tbsp honey (30 mL)

2 cups rolled oats (not instant or quick) (500 mL)

1/4 cup raw sunflower seeds (50 mL)

1/4 cup hulled pumpkin seeds (pepitas) (50 mL)

1/4 cup blanched, sliced almonds (50 mL)

1/4 cup sweetened, shredded coconut (50 mL)

1/4 tsp cinnamon (1 mL)

pinch salt

Preparation

Heat a large skillet over medium-low. Melt the margarine and honey in the pan, then add the oats, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, almonds, coconut, cinnamon and salt, stirring and toasting for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Serve over fresh fruit, with yogurt or as a snack on its own.
