Ingredients
7 oz. really good (60% cocoa) semisweet chocolate
¾ cup butter
1 cup sugar
4 eggs, separated
Preparation
Preheat oven to 300F, melt chocolate and butter in microwave. Stir together half the sugar and 4 yolks, add to melted chocolate concoction. Beat egg whites w/electric mixer until peaks form, slowly add remaining half of sugar Into chocolate. Pour in greased 9 inch cake pan. Bake 40 min, or until toothpick inserted comes out with just a few crumbs on it. Cool 30 min before removing from pan, dust with powdered sugar.
