Ingredients
1 # boneless, skinless chicken breast
1 md onion, chopped
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 T olive oil
2 - 15 1/2 oz can Great Northern Beans, drained and rinsed
2 tsp chicken base dissolved in 1 3/4 c water
2 - 4 oz can green chillies, chopped
1 c sour cream
1 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 c heavy whipped cream
1 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
Preparation
Cut chicken into 1/2 inch cubes. In large saucepan or dutch oven, saute chicken, onion & garlic powder in oil until chicken is no longer pink. Add beans, chicken base, chillies and seasoning. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat - simmer uncovered for 30 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in sour cream & whipping cream. Serve with warm flour tortillas.
